Even in our recent past, just 50 years ago, we were much healthier and happier than our modern times. This can be attributed to many lifestyle factors, especially diet. Compared to our grandparents, and even parents from some cultures, our diets lack animal foods, and not only that, the quality of the animal foods has diminished due to conventional farming practices sacrificing quality for quantity.
What we are missing in these animal foods is key nutrients to fuel our bodies. The building blocks of human life. Fat and Water Soluble Vitamins, Minerals, and Essential Fatty Acids. Obtaining these through whole foods can be done in most cases, but for certain vitamins it is difficult, if not impossible, to obtain adequate amounts, especially in the context of our modern lifestyle.
